The course studies English literature through the careful analysis of significant works in the genres of poetry, fiction and drama by John Keats (1795-1821), Christina Rossetti (1830-1894), Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809-1892), E. M. Forster (1879-1970) and George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950).
